Betsy Cohen leaving Mosaic Project after 12 years

Betsy Cohen, a relentless advocate for helping foreign-born residents settle in the St. Louis area, is stepping down as executive director of the Mosaic Project.

The World Trade Center St. Louis announced Wednesday that Cohen will become a consultant to FutureGood, a national consultancy based in Santa Monica, California, that “helps foundations, funders, nonprofits and visionary leaders predict and shape the future.”

Suzanne Sierra, the Mosaic Project’s assistant director, will succeed Cohen, effective March 17. The initiative, which connects foreign-born newcomers with social and professional resources, is part of the World Trade Center nonprofit group, which is under the umbrella of the quasi-governmental St. Louis Economic Development Partnership.
